Murray Volkswagen Plymouth are taking part in Elmer's Big Parade this summer in order to raise money for the very worthy charity, St Luke's Hospice.
For 10 weeks throughout the summer a parade of 40 fabulously colourful and unique elephants will take 1000's of people on a trail around the beautiful city of Plymouth and the surrounding area. Murray Volkswagen Plymouth has joined the 'herd' and sponsored one of the Elmer sculptures, 'Hippy Heffalump', who will be available to visit on site from 8th July to 16th September.
In addition to this, there will be a mini herd of 'young Elmers' which were decorated by local school children and will be on display at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park as part of an education programme exhibition.
Finally, at the end of the summer we will say goodbye to the amazing pieces of art as they are auctioned off to raise money for St Luke's, enabling the wonderful charity to continue to provide its outstanding compassion and care to our community.
