What is Motability at kia?

Kia is proud to support the government-funded Motability Scheme, offering disabled motorists across south-west England access to the latest range of stylish new Kia cars. To be eligible for a Motability vehicle, you must be in receipt of either the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement. In exchange for this entitlement, you can take ownership of a brand-new Kia car, which can also be adapted according to your requirements. Possession of the vehicle will be on a contract hire basis, meaning that, at the end of the agreement, you will be entitled to return the vehicle in exchange for an alternative model.

Benefits of joining the Motability Car Scheme

If you choose a car, all this is included:

A new car every three years

You get a brand new car every three years. We will contact you a few months before your lease expires, and if you decide to continue with the Motability Scheme, providing you are still eligible. You can choose a car for the next three-year contract.

Insurance

The worry-free package provides similar cover to what you would expect under a fully comprehensive insurance policy. You can still lease a car even if you don’t drive, you simply nominate two drivers who can drive on your behalf. And if you decide to leave the Motability Scheme at a later stage, you can request a letter confirming your claims history to take to your new insurer.

Servicing and maintenance

All of your regular servicing and maintenance is included, we will collect and deliver your car if you live nearby or if you prefer we will lend you a courtesy car free of change. All service and maintenance costs are covered within the scheme so you’ll have no unexpected repair bills with your Motability car.

We are fully wheelchair friendly and accessible

Motability is a worry-free car lease package for disabled drivers. It can mean a brand new car every three years, for anyone receiving the higher rate motability component of the Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Disability Living Allowance (DLA), or War Pensioners’ Motability Supplement (WPMS). You don’t even need to be able to drive – as part of your lease you can nominate up to two drivers.

The package includes: Insurance, Servicing and Maintenance, Full RAC breakdown assistance, Annual Car Tax, replacement tyres, windscreen replacement, Many adaptations at no extra cost, 60,000 mileage allowance over 3 year lease.
