On Tuesday 22nd November, Murray Group launched our exciting new Leadership Training Programme, in conjunction with Martec Training. The programme aims to support colleagues in developing their skills and prepare them for leadership roles across the group in the future. As a business we can't say often enough that our people are our greatest asset so the chance to invest in our colleagues is something that we have been looking to roll out for some time.
Six colleagues from across the group have been selected for the very first programme, which ran over Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Martec welcomed Sam from our Hyundai retailer, Amy from Murray Skoda, Jake from VW Newton Abbot, Laura & Ross from VW Plymouth and Marie from the Rodgers of Plymouth Accounts Team to China Fleet Country Club for the initial sessions.
The attendees' feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with Laura telling us:
"Prior to the training, we took a test to determine our learning styles and personality traits - the results were scarily accurate, they had me down to a tee! The course itself was very interactive and hands on, which I loved. Even after two days, I'm finding that I'm putting what I learned into practice when dealing with customers."
We are absolutely thrilled to be able to offer the opportunity to our team members and look forward to watching them apply the skills that they have learned in their daily roles.
