October is the Murray Group's month of giving back!
The month of October is the Murray Group month of giving back so we have decided to organise an event that reflects our commitment to the local community and supporting important causes.
We will be hosting a Charity Duathlon (Cycle/Run) at each of our sites to raise funds for the incredible Foundation PCIP and Macmillan Cancer Support from 1st - 31st October.
How the event will work?
It's taken some thought to ensure that this is doable in our working environments, so we have carefully planned the distances and destinations to ensure they are achievable for each brand/site.
• Kia and Hyundai will work together to achieve running or cycling the perimeter of South Korea, which is a total of 2,413 kilometres.
• Valley Road will run/cycle the equivalent distance from Plymouth to Prague and back which is a total of 2,634 kilometres.
• Newton Abbot will run/cycle the equivalent of a London standard Duathlon a day (59k), which is a total of 1,829 kilometres.
• Plymouth VW will complete a London Ultra Duathlon a day (107k), which is a total of 3,317 kilometres.
Together, we can make a meaningful impact and support PCIP and Macmillan in their vital missions.
