We are thrilled to announce that one of our charities of the year is Shelter, an amazing charity that supports homeless people, join us as we raise money!

Home is a human right. It's Shelters foundation and it's where they thrive. Yet, every day millions of people are being devastated by the housing emergency. At least 309,000 people are homeless in England today. A shocking statistic that has risen by 14% in just a year as the housing emergency escalates.

We exist to defend the right to a safe home. Because home is everything. We aim to raise crucial funds and awareness for Shelter, throughout 2024.

How do they help?

  • Locally: Their advice and support services offer one-to-one, personalised help with housing issues and homelessness.

  • Online: On their website, find expert information about everything from reclaiming your deposit to applying as homeless, or speak to an adviser over webchat.

  • Over the phone: Their free emergency helpline offers urgent advice if you are homeless, have nowhere to stay tonight or are at risk of harm or abuse in your home.

  • Legal: Their solicitors provide free legal advice and attend court to help people who’ve lost their homes or are facing eviction.
