Homelessness is a pressing issue across the UK, affecting countless individuals who often have beloved pets by their side. These animal companions are not just pets; they're cherished members of their owners' families, offering companionship, comfort, and a sense of stability in otherwise challenging circumstances.

Through the StreetVet Accredited Hostel Scheme, they extend their services to individuals in temporary accommodation, further broadening their reach and impact. By partnering with renowned organizations and leveraging the support of qualified professionals, StreetVet is transforming the future for the pets of those experiencing homelessness. No longer do these animals have to go without the care they need and deserve.

Together, we're making a tangible difference in the lives of both people and their pets, ensuring their combined wellbeing and fostering a brighter tomorrow.

Who are StreetVet?

The bond between homeless individuals and their pets runs deep, with the health and wellbeing of these furry friends being of paramount importance to their owners. However, living on the streets or in temporary accommodation presents significant obstacles to accessing essential veterinary care.

That's where StreetVet comes in. As a registered practice with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, StreetVet is comprised of a dedicated team of professional vets and veterinary nurses committed to providing vital care to people experiencing homelessness and their pets nationwide. They understand that traditional veterinary care isn't always accessible to those living rough, so they take our expertise directly to the streets, ensuring that these beloved animals receive the attention and treatment they deserve.
